United Bicycle Institute
this is me, getting my "mug shot" taken for the school records and web site. the beard comes and goes. If you see me at the shop say Hi, tell me what you think about the shop, what I can help you with.
Here is my class on "Graduation" day from UBI. It was a very good experience. I'm glad I went. someday mabye I'll go back and take the frame building class. Next time I'll bring the whole family.
"Bike geeks" look nothing like I thought they would, but then again I have no idea what a real bike geek looks like. PJ, are you wearing sandals in this picture?
I'm the old dude on the right in the blue shirt. not to toot my own horn or anything, but: part of our "Exam" was to take a modern road bike down to frame (competely disasemble) and put it back together (correctly). I was the only student working alone (we had an odd number of students cause someone dropped out) and was able to acomplish the task quicker then some of the teams in the class.
