Leave your car at home and walk, hop or ride to downtown Arlington
Heights August 21 from 12:00 - 5:00pm. At 5:00pm, the Taste of
Arlington begins, so stick around for dinner!
The streets will be closed to cars and we want to fill the streets
with people and activities.
We need your help to show the support for promoting walking and biking
in Arlington Heights and our local businesses.
ACTIONS to support Car Free Days:
1. Forward this email around to your friends and families. Tell or
invite your neighbors to walk/ride downtown.
2. We are looking for volunteers to help manage the bike parking -
please respond to this email to volunteer
3. Get out and WALK or RIDE to this event!
4. Send a note to the Board asking for improved bike paths and more
bike racks.
There's been a great deal of work just to get this approved, so let's
so our support to keep it alive!
