Some friends of ours are out to prove that pennies laid out end to end for a mile will equal $844.80. They are calling it the "Worthwile Mile" because all proceeds will be donated to the Finnerty Family.
On Sunday April 18th at 1:00 pm, on North Pine Avenue near Recreation Park. A gaggle of kids will gather to do the actual penny picking.
We are taking penny donations here at the shop.
Remember: Just because it's small doesn't make it insignificant.
