Burley Story

The following e-mail was forwarded to me by our Burley Trailer rep.
It sort of speaks for itself:

Subject: Our Burley Trailer RIP
To Burley Trailer Company,
Just over a month ago, my wife was riding along on her bike with our
Burley trailer in tow. She was babysitting a 5 year old neighbor that
day whom was in the Burley trailer at the time. They were struck by an
inattentive motorist and drug 4 feet before the driver realized what had
happened. The trailer ended up partially lodged under the front axle of
the Jeep Cherokee that hit them. As you can see the trailer did not fare
so well. HOWEVER, the 5 year old boy walked away without a scratch.
Even before meeting it's premature ending, this Burley trailer served
our family for 7 years trouble free. We used it for raising our 7 year
old, babysitting kids, and many trips to the grocery store. We went
through 2 sets of tires and the Burley just kept on hauling. We are sad
to see the trailer come to such a sad ending but thank God that the most
important cargo walked away safely.
This is a simple email from our family to say THANK YOU BURLEY for
making an amazingly durable product. We plan on buying a new burley
trailer and have our eye on the new D'Lite as my wife still used it for
her daycare business.
Thanks again!
The Smiths

Burley trailers are the "Kleenex" of trailers for a reason. they are exhaustively tested for safety, durability, and comfort.

thanks for stopping by.

Wow! Looks like Burley's extensive safety standards payed off here. I wonder if my GEO Metro could handle a hit like that?

No Chris, I don't think the Metro would!
